As we enter hurricane season, Rebuilding Together Greater Florida is on the move across the state — bringing hope, help, and hands-on support to communities in need.

This month, our team will be:

🏠 Preparing Hurricane Emergency Supply Kits to distribute in vulnerable neighborhoods
🔨 Showcasing Our Disaster Recovery & Home Repair Efforts that are making a lasting impact
🏗️ Highlighting Our FORTIFIED Roofing Projects, helping families stay safe and secure

• June 7th: Hurricane Preparedness Distribution Event -Tampa
  • RTGFL is partnering with Farm Share, Sunshine Health, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium from 9am – till supplies run out.
• June 7th: City of Fort Myers’ Division of Emergency Management Hurricane Preparedness Expo –
  • Come swing by RTGFL table to learn more about our efforts in Fort Myers at the Collaboratory from 11am – 3pm.
• June 9-10: Florida Training For Emergency Management Services Summit –
  • Our Program Managers will join other Florida Emergency Management colleagues to share experiences, best practices, and lessons learned from past storms at Hyatt Regency, Orlando.
• June 11: Hurricane Preparedness Media Event Fort Myers – 
  • RTGFL and United Way Lee, Hendry and Glades will host a press conference and volunteer event focused on hurricane preparedness and recovery, fortified roofing projects, including packing of 100 emergency supply kits at the United Way Gifts In Kind Warehouse, Fort Myers.
• June 12: Nonprofit Leadership Conference – Tampa
  • RTGFL is theYear of Training Sponsor. Come visit our table to learn more about our efforts in Tampa Bay at Hilton Tampa Downtown from 8am – 3pm.
• June 14: Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County: Grillin and Chillin Event –
  • Our Southwest 2 District Team will attend the event as a Sunset Sponsor at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Charlotte County Port Charlotte from 5pm – 9pm.
• June 18: Hurricane Preparedness Media Event Sarasota –
  • Join RTGFL to hear from CEO Jose Garcia and elected officials about efforts to protect vulnerable homes ahead of the hurricane season at the Resilience Incubator, 1760 Mound St, Sarasota, FL 34236.
